Hi Karen! Thanks for asking. You can’t even imagine how often we get this comment & concern. Even from our closest friends! We aren’t bouncing up and down like on a back yard trampoline so the sensation you’d feel of being weightless doesn’t happen unless you’re high bouncing. Which by the time we do those in class, your pelvic floor is SO engaged from all the down bouncing & running that you’d have to have a pretty full bladder to feel that way! We always suggest using the potty before hand and don’t ever discriminate against those who need to use the restroom during class either. I hope this helps!
P.S. I’m almost 5 months pregnant & having to potty ALL THE TIME now, so I definitely understand the concern. However, because of the strength in my pelvic floor from bouncing so much before... it hasn’t been a problem!
